January 26, 2022 – Sybrid (Private) Limited has joined hands with Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, Multan (MNSUAM), Pakistan, to accelerate the development of innovative solutions, products and services around agriculture and applied technologies to promote young talent in the South Punjab region by inaugurating the Corporate Innovation Center for Agriculture and Allied Technologies (CICAAT) in Multan.

The Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, Multan (MNSUAM) has been promoting and supporting research and development culture in the country, specifically in the South Punjab region, through its innovation-focused activities in agriculture as well as other tech-related functions.
Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi, Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Punjab, inaugurated the CICAAT along with officials of Sybrid and MNSUAM, including Mr. Ather Imran Nawaz, Chief Executive Officer, Sybrid, Prof. Dr. Asif Ali, T.I., Vice-Chancellor MNSUAM and Ali Iqbal, President Concave Agri, in a ceremony on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Multan, Pakistan. The ceremony also incorporated other senior officials / faculty from Sybrid and MNSUAM, as well as distinguished guests from relevant business sectors.
Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi, Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Punjab, appreciated the launch of CICAAT and encouraged the exclusive industrial partnership of Sybrid and MNSUAM to promote the economic growth of Pakistan by focussing on agriculture and technology.
CEO Sybrid, Mr. Ather Imran Nawaz stated, “Partnership with MNSUAM to set up Corporate Innovation Center for Agriculture and Allied Technologies (CICAAT) is part of our strategic goals to build strong relationships with academic & research organizations, to eventually foster the culture of research and innovation. The work done in this center will help contribute to the economic & production uplift of our farmers from South Punjab in specific & Pakistan in general. This center essentially will become part of the network of innovation centers that Sybrid plans to build around the country to promote research and technology innovation”.
Vice-Chancellor MNSUAM, Prof. Dr. Asif Ali, T.I. added, “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the agriculture sector requires exposure to state-of-the-art technology so that the young community
in rural areas can build their career in a more decent way. CICAAT, which is a joint venture between MNSUAM and Sybrid (Pvt.) Ltd. will provide opportunities to young individuals to equip themselves accordingly. This is a very good initiative which will promote Agri Entrepreneurship in South Punjab and beyond in the coming future”.
The CICAAT will serve as a platform to stimulate the growth of technology-based new businesses in the region and facilitate joint projects with a core focus on research, economic growth, jobs creation, digital transformation, and increasing exports of Pakistan.
