Sybrid Private Limited partners with Nisar Aziz AgriTech Center & Namal University to promote Agri-Tech, Business Innovation, and Young Talent in the region by signing Memorandums of Understanding

1-bMarch 10, 2022 – Sybrid Private Limited, a Lakson Group company, and Concave Agri, an associated Agri-tech venture, have joined hands with Namal University & Nisar Aziz AgriTech Center to build a strategic partnership to accelerate the development of innovative solutions and services around agriculture sector and to promote young talent in the region by signing two Memorandums of Understanding.

Concave Agri is focused on providing technology-centred agricultural advisory and services across Pakistan’s agricultural sector. Utilizing a holistic approach, Concave Agri offers an end-to-end user experience for the entire agricultural value chain.

Nisar Aziz AgriTech Centre – Namal University is a body constituted to impart modern agricultural education and training to the youth and farmers of the impoverished communities to enable them to learn low-cost modern farming techniques to address the agricultural problems through effective technological solutions.

Dr. Rauf A. Sheikh – Acting Rector, Namal University added, “This partnership aims to uplift Pakistani farmers and increase their livelihoods by offering them relevant, timely information through advisory services as well as direct linkages with the market to sell their produce at optimum rates.  The primary focus of this collaboration is to focus on activities with the farmers in the Mianwali region first and then expand to other areas.”

These MoUs will provide an opportunity to escalate the growth of technology-based new businesses in the region and facilitate joint projects in the areas of agriculture and technology, with a core focus on research, economic growth, jobs creation, digital transformation, and increasing agronomic exports of Pakistan.
